About This Book
You are Mac Young, the 14 year old mechanic’s mate on Roy Chapman Andrews 1924 expedition to look for Dinosaur fossils in the Gobi Desert of Outer Mongolia.
You are in trouble; Your attempt at kindness to a group of horsemen (bandits- the others said) who rode into camp during a dust storm two days ago has ended up landing you the job of pulling the shaggy fur from the humps of the expedition’s camels.
When the horsemen come back, you start shouting at them to go away. But, this time they’re not begging for food or blankets. As they turn their ponies to leave, the lead rider tosses a cloth-wrapped package to the ground at you feet. It’s a claw, a fossilised dinosaur claw- and your adventures are about to begin.
