About This Book
Mount an expedition through the rainforest to search for the ruins of a lost city. This is said to lie in the mountainous headwaters of the Rio Venomoso- the ‘poisonous river’. The Namweyo tribe of Indians who live in the region have long told stories of stone buildings deep in the jungle. They call the ruins ‘Rucu-rumimarca’ which means ‘old city of stone’. Chewed bones have been found amongst the overgrown stonework and a low pitched growling has often been heard there at night. Because of this the Indians will not go near the place.
Is Rucu-rumimarca all that remains of some long lost civilisation? Are there archaeological treasures to find? Maybe there’s gold!
It’s up to you to find out…
